Vision:
Kentucky stands as a singularly qualified region to showcase a revitalized local economy for the 21st century’s challenges of climate change, globalization, and threats to democracy. Through unique geography and natural resources, the Commonwealth’s position in the history and culture of the United States, and the character of its people, Kentucky stands example of an interconnected web of local and regional sustainable growth and self-sufficiency. Watershed Festival is a premier spotlight on the communication between Kentucky’s regions and its connections to the past and future through music, story, advocacy, and education.

Mission:
Watershed exists to CELEBRATE Kentucky’s cultural heritage through participation in its unique musical forms, EDUCATE the region about the similarities between Kentucky’s different peoples and their capabilities for self-sufficiency, and ADVOCATE for progressive solutions to Kentucky’s 21st century challenges in water quality, sustainability, social and economic justice, and diversity

We're getting so close the the event! We here at Watershed are so excited to have Kentucky Waterways Alliance, University of Kentucky Water Initiatives Group, Healthy 4 Louisville, Strive, Rural Urban Exchange, and so many more advocates, exhibitors and vendors joining us. Make sure to stop by, ask them what they do, and ask how you can get involved. These groups are making positive change in our community, and Watershed exists because of them!

In addition to the groups listed above, we really couldnt put on thise event without the support of West 6th Brewing, Louisville Water Company, WFPK, LIBA, LEO, Le Fleur de Merde, Lettleiki Icelandics, Pink Elephant Farm, and Rainbow Blossom. These companies and community groups are actively making an effort to support the missions of Watershed: quality water for everyone, sustainable business and environment practices, social and economic justice for all, and a diverse  work and community space. Thank you!
